Abstract

Dieser Artikel faßt die Ergebnisse der Diskussion zum Thema Regionalentwicklung zusammen, die sich im Laufe der letzten 15 Jahre aus Studien der OECD und im englischsprachigen Raum ergeben haben. Im ersten Teil sind die Bedingungen der Regionalentwicklung seit der ersten Ölkrise beschrieben, der zweite Teil enthält ein Grundlagen-Modell und untersucht dessen Bedeutung und Anwendungsmöglichkeiten für die Mitgliedsländer der OECD und der dritte Teil enthält eine Prognose für die Regionalpolitik auf internationaler Ebene.
