Abstract

Die Regionalpolitik und Technologiepolitik wachsen im Europa der Regionen mehr und mehr zusammen. Wenn man die Technologietransfernetzwerke in Nordost-England, im Ruhrgebiet und in Baden-Württemberg miteinander vergleicht, wird deutlich, daß der nationale politische Rahmen stark auf den Spielraum der Regionen einwirkt, um selber eine Innovationsförderung zu entwickeln. Die Region mit den größten politischen Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten, Baden-Württemberg, hat sich das durchsichtigste Netzwerk geschaffen. In Nordost-England sind gleichzeitig Initiativen sowohl auf regionaler Ebene als auch auf nationaler Ebene entstanden, ohne daß die Initiativen aufeinander abgestimmt worden sind. Dadurch überlappen die verschiedenen innovationsfördernden Aktivitäten einander.
